For Your Info

 

1.  Course of fire will be in shoothouses with a round count approaching 150. Flashlights optional.

 

2.  The Blackwater Shootout is an IDPA sanctioned match.

 

3.  Scoring will be done off site at the completion of the match with results posted to the web site (www.defensiveshootersconfederation.com) with 3 days. 

 

4.  We will allow seven days to correct errors and mail final results.

 

5.  Range Officers with travel with their squad throughout the match.

 

6.  The event will proceed rain or shine, so plan accordingly.

 

7.  The Blackwater Pro Shop will be open limited hours during check-in and possibly during lunch.

 

8.  Do a last minute check of gear and ammo, as it might not be available on site.  Extra loaded mags will be necessary, as you will shoot two stages from each start point.

 

9.  Lunch will be available both Saturday and Sunday in the Blackwater dinning facility (Chow Hall).  The cost is $6.00 payable at check-in.  Please bring correct fee.

 

10.  A pistol warm-up at Range T2 will be open to shooters prior to the match both days.

 

11.  A carbine range will be set up for shooters with a pistol caliber carbines (i.e. 9mm, 40, 45 and M-1 carbines).  If you don't have one, bring some extra ammo and we will loan you one. The cost is $10 and for the range and the funds go to the Blackwater Memorial Fund.
